Scott began his career in financial services in 2007, right before one of the equity market's most tumultuous years on record. He helps clients manage their risk throughout good times and bad. In 2016 Scott joined Goodwin Financial after a five year tenure with UBS. Prior to that, Scott worked as a capital markets analyst for a private firm in Durango, CO.

Scott earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Fort Lewis College and is FINRA-registered Series 7 and 66. He is actively involved in the community, serving as an ambassador for the Denver Tech Center Chamber of Commerce and board member for Rollin' Dreams Foundation. Scott and his wife, Alexandra, live in Littleton, CO and enjoy spending their free time playing in the mountains.
